Every time I use another (often more «upscale») place due to scheduling, I am reminded of the two things I like about this place: the people, and the quality of their work! I just haven’t found that same combination anywhere else. I’ve gone to this place for years as a summer resident of Ocean City. Just a warning - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I cannot be the only one that’s been treated like this. Like I said, I would never return to this place, even if they paid me. Atmosphere sucked, place was dirty, and customer service was the worst I had ever had. The worst part is, I gave the guy a decent tip when he deserved nothing at all. I kept thinking, IS THIS A JOKE? Who in their right mind treats PAYING CUSTOMERS this way? A lot of people of this page are surprised by the bad reviews, but I’m surprised by the good ones. He then asked me what I did for a living, and when I told him, he went on a tangent about the organization I work for and how terrible it is. He told me I had waited too long to get a fill and kept talking down to me. The nail tech started on my nails and immediately started to criticize them and the way they looked. Hindsight, I should have gotten up and left after he made that comment, but I decided to stay because I was desperate. I’m sorry, but any place that considers 35 seconds too long to pick a color is a joke. I honestly thought he was joking at first, but clearly he was not. When I sat down, the nail tech said «You’re lucky, because you just made the cut-off.» When I asked what he meant, he replied that they will charge extra if you take too long to pick out your color.

I was at the polish shelves for maybe 35 – 45 seconds trying to choose a color. I wanted black and could not find it on the shelf, so settled for something else.

They took me right away and told me to pick a color. Let me start off with saying that I was a walk-in acrylic fill.

My friend, who had another nail tech, also had an incredible massage, so it wasn’t a fluke. I can’t even describe it any further, because you just need to come in and get one yourself. It was, hands down (no pun intended), the absolute best arm/hand massage I have ever gotten. Overall, the manicure was on par with all of the other good gel manicures I’ve gotten, but good Lord, THE MASSAGE. They had my favorite color and tons of OPI gel options (the only brand I’ve found that really lasts as long as gel should). I got a gel manicure from Alex, who was absolutely delightful and worked very quickly and thoroughly. I’ll say the only negative thing now, so I don’t end on a downer: it’s $ 10 to remove gel polish, which is the highest I’ve ever seen (and makes sense in a tourist town, I guess), so I picked it off while I waited.

My friends and I called about ten minutes ahead, and then waited about ten minutes once we got here, and they had a lot of other customers going. The waiting area is a little cramped, but with eight pedicure chairs and six manicure stations, I’m sure the extra chairs are welcome in the busy summer months. This is maybe one of the best manicures I’ve ever gotten (and I get them a lot). I’ve never written a review while still in the nail salon, but here we are.
